Bobbi Jean Dunnington, 60 of Fairmont, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 5, at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV, following a brief illness.

Bobbi was born in Fairmont, WV, on September 27, 1964, to the late Robert Joseph "Bob" and Emma Jean (Welch) Dunnington. She is lovingly remembered by her companion, Robert "Bob" Delaney; her children, Melvin Lee Delaney (Jessica), Jessica Marie Delaney; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Austin, Zachary, Joseph, Emmalee, and Zeke Delaney. Her siblings, Kimberly (Harrison) Thompson, Dorinda (Dave) Talerico, and Robert "Joey" (Lori) Dunnington, survive her, along with several nieces and nephews, including MaryKate Thompson, Brooks Thompson,

Matt (Brittany) Talerico, Lauren Talerico, Bella Talerico, and Bryan Talerico.

Bobbi was a proud graduate of North Marion High School, Class of 1982. She pursued a career in the banking industry, most recently in commercial lending at United Bank in Morgantown, WV. She often spoke warmly of her colleagues, who stood by her as both a team and family. They were always there for her.

Bobbi loved her family and friends and was devoted to her Shih Tzu, Smoke. She cherished her time traveling, especially to Destin, Florida, and found joy in crafting wreaths, decorations, and crocheting blankets for others. Alongside Bob, she also enjoyed baking, canning, visiting auctions, and spending time with his family. Though in physical pain, Bobbi's concern for others always came first. Many described her as one of the kindest souls they had ever known. To her siblings, she was simply and warmly Bobbi Jean.

A memorial service honoring Bobbi will be held at a later date, allowing time for family and friends to gather and celebrate her life. Memorial contributions may be mailed to Standing at the Altar Ministries,155 Spring Hills Road, Grafton, WV, 26354, in Bobbi Jean's memory.
