Bobbie Worley Bramblett, 90, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Bobbie was born on May 25, 1935 in Greenville, South Carolina. Bobbie had the privilege of growing up at the Masonic Home in Macon, GA, where she made lifelong friendships. She met the love of her life, Robert Bramblett, who was working as a lifeguard at the home. Bobbie graduated from University of Georgia where she received her BA in Home Economics. She worked as a teacher in the Brevard County School system for over 35 years. Bobbie taught Home Economics, History, English and finished her career as the computer specialist at Hoover Junior High School in Indialantic, Florida.
Bobbie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing Bridge, reading and most importantly she was an avid quilter. She was very talented in the art of sewing and enjoyed sharing her wisdom with her quilting group. She was a huge football fan. University of Georgia Bulldogs and Florida State Seminole's were her teams! She tried not to ever miss a game. Beloved by all family pets, she spoiled every dog she ever met with endless treats!
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Susan Bramblett Lange; her husband, Jeffrey; daughter, Sienna; grandchildren Amanda and Brooks Slater; nieces, Sandy Wilborne, Lesley Keener and Holly Doyle, along with their children.
Bobbie was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert Bramblett and daughter, Christy Bramblett Slater.
Bobbie had many cherished friends and family who all spent time with her before her passing. She loved them all very much.
A service will be held to honor Bobbie's life at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025 in the sanctuary at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. A reception will follow in the Dining Room at Christ Church.
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Masonic Home of Georgia.
