In Loving Memory of Surinder Kaur Saini

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Surinder Kaur Saini, lovingly known as Auntyji. Born on April 2, 1945, in Delhi, India, to Hari Singh and Sada Kaur, she later made her home in Jacksonville, Florida. Surinder departed this life on August 19, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Surinder was a devoted wife, a proud mother of three, and a cherished grandmother. A deeply respected member of the Punjabi Sikh community in Jacksonville, she was known for her kindness, generosity, and ever-present smile, which touched the hearts of all who met her.
She will always be remembered for her warmth, hospitality, and incredible cooking. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and joy, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought family and friends together. No one ever left her home hungry-only fuller, in body and spirit. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and togetherness.
Beyond her devotion to family, Surinder found great joy in gardening. Her blooming flowers and bountiful vegetable harvests were a true reflection of her nurturing soul-vibrant, generous, and full of life.
Surinder is survived by her beloved husband, Surjit Singh Saini; her children, Harminder Saini (Veenu) and Sarabjit Irani; her granddaughter, Natashajeet Saini (Tashi); her daughter-in-law, Ana Saini; and a wide circle of extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held on August 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Ponte Vedra Valley, followed by Sehaj Paath Bhog at 1:00 PM at Jacksonville Gurudwara.
