Bobbie Cleaver (Johnson) was born February 14, 1948, to Edmond Johnson, Sr., and Julia Pearl (Allen) in Fairfield, Limestone County, Texas.

Bobbie accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a founding member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined New Creation Fellowship, which her son-in-law, TW McClenton, was the pastor. New Creation Fellowship merged with Greater Gathering Place Church under the leadership of Pastor BF Roberts. Bobbie was the head of Pastor's Aid while at Greater Gathering Place. Bobbie was a faithful member of the body of Christ and now she is with Christ, her Lord and Savior.

She married Robert Lee Hill, Sr., and to this union, Mary Jane, Rhonda LaShell, and Robert Lee, Jr., were born. She worked for Levi Strauss for many years and retired in
November of 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joe Ellis Johnson and Earnest Gatson; and son-in-law, John Arthur Shoels.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Shoels, Rhonda LaShell McClenton (TW), and Robert Lee Hill (Deitra); siblings, Mary Lee Jackson, Edmond Johnson, Jr. (Diane), Don Lee Johnson, and Ruby Pearl Jones; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Breanna Shoels and Johnathan Shoels (Candace); great-grandchildren, Gracie Fox and John Shepherd Shoels; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. To honor Bobbie, when you leave here today be sweet and have chicken nuggets, a honey bun, or a wild cherry Pepsi.
