The beautiful and charismatic soul of Mrs. Bobbie Lee Pratt passed from this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Bobbie was born on June 27, 1934, in Clark County, Arkansas, to the union of Clayborn Booker and Mamie Hunter Booker.
She was a devoted home health aide, serving families throughout the surrounding areas with compassion and care. Known for her quick wit and no-nonsense approach to life, Bobbie was fun-loving and full of personality. She spoke her mind with love, and her family often described her as someone who could “criticize with kindness.”
A longtime member of Clayborn Chapel AME Church in the Springhill Community, Bobbie later united with St. Ruth Baptist Church in Gum Springs. She was also a proud former Eastern Star who enjoyed both fishing and shocking others with her humor and honesty.
Her family remembers her as a woman of strength, wisdom, and grace, always ready to listen and offer encouragement. She said what she meant and meant what she said — a true example of authenticity and love.
She leaves lasting memories in the hearts of her only son, Bennie Ray (Erma Lee) Booker of Sparkman, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Chandra (Walter) Watkins of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Talea Miranda of Brooklyn, New York; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, James D. Booker (Willie) of DeSoto, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Ezelma Booker and Johnny Jean Booker. She is also survived by her special friends, Delores McPeak; special cousin, Zella Mae Knox; and her beloved niece, Venisia McGuire of Midlothian, Texas — who held a special place in her heart as well as a cadre of nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2025, from noon until 7:00 p.m. with the family hour from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gregory Guinn, officiating. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery – Clayborn Chapel in Arkadelphia.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Bennetta Booker and Terraen Booker Goshen; and her siblings Marie Young, O.C. Booker, Jodie Booker, Clayborn Booker Jr., Robert V. Booker, Patrick Booker Sr., and George W. Booker.
