Bobbie Jean Phillips, 55, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Sunday morning, September 21, 2025, while she was staying at her mother's home near Frankfort. She was born on Monday, August 24, 1970, in Washington Court House, a daughter of Robert and Janet Acton Phillips.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Young of Frankfort, her daughter, Ashley (Harold Houser) Phillips of Bloomingburg, two granddaughters' Katelyn and Lily, three sisters, Lori (Jimmy) Lemaster of Chillicothe, Tammy (Ken) Pollard of Washington C.H., Amy (Scott) Tuten Darrah of Montgomery, OH, several nephews who she loved as her sons and great nieces and a great nephew that she loved as well. Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Phillips.
Bobbie was a graduate of Paint Valley High School, Class of 1988. She worked for several years at Sugar Creek Packing before becoming disabled due to her illness. Bobbie was a cancer survivor, and she enjoyed the extra years she was blessed with. She had a heart of gold and loved helping people and always cared for stray animals.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with Pastor Adam Lynch officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made by clicking on the donation tab on her obituary.
