She was preceded in death by her husband: Marshall Simmons; son, Scott Simmons, parents, Ollie Alton and Mary Harrell Body; and sister, Geneva Presley.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Houston Simmons and Dale (Andrea) Simmons; grandchildren, Hanna (Spencer) Mack, Cory Bladorn, and Suzanna Covington; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Ben, Gabe, and Josephina Mack, Paityn, Kingston, and Kainyn Covington; sister: June Jones; brother, Spurgeon Body; several nieces and nephews.
Eloise was a member of El Bethel Assembly Church and graduated from Gadsden High School. She retired from what was formerly Bellsouth and now AT&T after 20 years as an operator. She loved to go walking, go camping, playing Skipbo, and travel to the Smoky Mountains.
