BAXTER CHAPEL-Bobbie "Bob" Allen Victory, age 83, a beloved member of the Buffalo Valley community, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 30, 1941, in Florence, Alabama, to the late Roy Allen and Lora Horton Victory.
Bob had a fulfilling career, having retired from the Maintenance Department at GMC in Detroit. He was a member of Rock Springs Church, where he shared his faith and values with those around him. His passion for life was evident in his numerous hobbies and interests, which included a love for NASCAR and car racing, watching football, motorcycle riding in his younger years, as well as playing pool, darts, and cards. Bob also enjoyed listening to country music.
He is survived by his brother, Dennis Victory of Michigan; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley (Darryl) Maddux of Buffalo Valley, Barbara (Bill) Haggard of Baxter, Janice Thomas of Knoxville, and Lonnie (Jan) Herron of Gregory, Michigan. In addition, his legacy continues through his grandchildren, Barry (Jackie) Julien, Zachary Victory, Nikita Victory, and Shaina Victory, along with six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Madeline Herron Victory, who died on May 8, 2023; his daughter, Gena Lynn Victory Julien; his son, Robert Allen Victory; his brothers, William Victory and Jerry Victory; and his sisters, Betty Barnes, Sandra Lowery, and Janie Victory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Baxter Chapel, located at 532 4th Ave South, Baxter, TN, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Chaplain Dwight Henry will officiate. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Rock Springs Cemetery in Buffalo Valley, TN
Bob will be remembered for his warm spirit, commitment to family, and his enduring love for his community. He touched many lives, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
