Bobby Beam Obituary
Reverend Bobby Carlton Beam went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home on December 17, 2025.
Born August 12, 1935, he was the son of the late Gordon Hill and Winne Lou Walden Beam of Scottdale, GA. He attended Clarkston High School and served in the United States Army from 1955-1957.
He is survived by his daughter Ms. Cathy Beam as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends and extended family members.
Reverend Beam was a retired minister with the Assemblies of God. He gave his first sermon at the age of 11 and pastored and ministered for over 70 years. He also worked for Kraft Foods and Enterprise Rental Car.
Reverend Beam was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty Baldwin Beam, his parents Gordon Hill and Winnie Lou Walden Beam, Stepmother Gladys Beam, brother Horace Beam, sisters Ellen Register, Helen Ford and Shirley Kiney.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
