Bobby Alvin Bembry

Bobby "Alvin" Bembry, age 69, of Scottsburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. He was born on February 2nd, 1955 in Live Oak, FL.
Alvin retired from Fluor where he was an Industrial Electrical Superintendent. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and cooking. Alvin enjoyed time spent with his son-in-law, Scott. His grandchildren, Savannah and Emma, were the focus of his life.
His greatest gift from God, was his loving daughter, Alicia.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Bembry; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Scott Smith; grandchildren, Savannah and Emma; brother, Dan Bembry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Earl Bembry and Ella Mae Brannan Bembry; and his brother, Charles Bembry.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Scottsburg, VA. The service will be officiated by Reverend Ken Warfield. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 - 8 pm at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
