Bobby Dwain Burdin, age 62, of Peoria, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Bob was born September 17, 1962 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, the son of Bobby J. Burdin and Linda Perrone of Peoria.
Surviving are his mother, Linda of Peoria; his sons, Bobby (Holly) Williams of Greenview, IL and Christopher (Olivia) Burdin; two grandsons, Waylon and River; one granddaughter, Savannah; two nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, his stepfather, two sisters, two brothers and one nephew.
Bob served his country as a missile crewman in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years as a subcontractor in construction for several companies. He was also a crew leader for C.N. Construction and AA&L Roofing.
Bob had a great sense of humor and enjoyed all sports. He had a generous heart and loved his family and friends. He especially enjoyed the time spent fishing and camping with his son, Christopher and nephew, Ricky. Bob was loved and will be missed by so many.
Cremation rites will be accorded a graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 11am at LaSalle Cemetery in Rome, IL with Rev. Howard Love officiating. Memorials in Bob's name may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. Arrangements are under the care of The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria.
