Kenneth A. Albaugh, 85, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Peoria, he was born on January 7, 1941, to Oscar Albaugh and Marie Meyers Albaugh Hoover.

Ken was preceded in death by both of his parents; all of his siblings: Oscar Jr., Jerry, Davey "Dave", and William "Bill" Albaugh, and his only sister, Ethel Albaugh Jolly; and a daughter, Brenda Albaugh.

Ken is survived by his longtime companion of 43 years Sharon Harper; daughters: Pamala Beaudry, Penny Davis, and Karen (Garry) Faichney; and granddaughters, Nicole and Dusti Faichney.

Other family members gained by love are his sons, Douglas (Jennifer) Harper and Jeff Harper; grandchildren: Nathan, Ellie, and Jake Harper; and great-grandchildren: Ganon, Stella, and Charlie Harper.

Ken was a devoted Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals fan and an avid outdoor sportsman. He loved fishing and deer hunting, but most of all spending time with his family.

He retired in 2001 as a member of Teamsters Local 627, working at Wilkins Pipe & Supply, Thrall Distribution, and Ferguson Enterprises.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Memorial donations in Ken's name may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences for the family and memorial tributes can be given online at www.thewiltonmortuary.com.
