Bobby Lafayette Caldwell

Bobby LaFayette Caldwell, age 83, of Georgetown, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Bobby's life was marked by his deep love for family, especially his grandbabies, who brought him immense joy. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding pleasure in coon hunting and trout fishing, activities that were a testament to his appreciation for nature and leisure. A devoted member of the Good Hope Baptist Church, Bobby, where he was former choir director and contributed to the church by singing in the choir, sharing his love for music and faith with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents: C.L and Erma Lea Caldwell, brother: Jerry Steven Caldwell.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Frances Caldwell; children: Jason Scott (Maggie) Caldwell, Brian (Amy) Caldwell; grandchildren: Haylie (Isaiah) Clute, Parker Caldwell, Abbie Caldwell, Ava Grace Caldwell, Andrew Caldwell; great grandchildren: Karma Cross, Waverly Clute; sister: Diane Caldwell; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Standfield Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Anthony Caldwell, Mark Caldwell, Parker Caldwell, Bob Smith, Wally McDowell, Isaiah Clute, and Andrew Caldwell.

The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m., prior to the service.
