Bobby Lane Druen, 86, of Glasgow, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Bobby was born December 17, 1937, in Dawagiac (Pike View), Kentucky, to the late Willard Druen and late Alma Genrose (Chaudoin) Druen. Bobby married his wife Barbara Shelton Druen on August 10, 1958. Bobby was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. His passions in life were his family, landscaping, joking around, UK, and his dogs, but most of all his family and friends.
Bobby graduated from Memorial High School and Kentucky College of Barbering. He was a master barber having worked at Ft. Knox, Munfordville, and Glasgow.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Veronica (David) Gilbert and Melanie (Marty) Carby; grandchildren, Britany (Richard) Harlow, Caleb (Jessica) Gilbert, Samantha (Rocky) Williams, Typhani Fuqua, Tyler (Amy) Walters; great grandchildren, Sawyer Walters, Adaline Walters, Scarlett Williams, Ansley Williams, Hallie Williams, Owen Fuqua, Scottlyn Fuqua, and Wells Gilbert; his sister, Roslyn (Tommy) Stone; brothers, Danny (Paula) Druen and Ricky (Karen) Druen; sister-in-law, Suzanne Druen; several nieces and nephews; his fur babies, Oreo, Foxy, and Thor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Druen.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 16th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, March 15th, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. The family has honored Bobby's wishes of cremation and will have private burial at a later date.
