Bobby Wayne Grant

Bobby Wayne Grant, 89, of Whitharral passed from this life on October 20, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born November 7, 1933 in Hall County, Texas to Austin and Pearl Grant.  Bobby married Shirley Ann Mitchell in May, 1955.

Bobby was a member of Park Drive Baptist Church, and was actually a founding member of the church.  His loyalty to everything ran deep.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; sister, Jimmie; and brothers, Buck, Coy, Danny, Kenneth, and Ronnie.

Bobby is survived by children, Joli (John), Mike (Gina) and Mitch (Joy); sibling, Tweetsie Buck; grandchildren, Cameron and Angie Dockery, Seth Dockery, Jared and Mykka Dockery, Natalie and Russ Renfro, James and Courtney Grant, Kurt and Chelsea Grant, Jordan and Haylee Tucker, Spencer Grant, Brandi and Austin McCasland, Derek Hodges, and Spencer and Mickie Hodges; and many great grandkids, that were the light of his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland, the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office or Littlefield EMS.
