Bobby Gene "Bob" Green

Bobby 'Bob' Gene Green, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 3, 2026. Bob was born to the late John and Myrtle Lay Green in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 5, 1931.

Bob selflessly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the owner and pharmacist of Kermit Pharmacy in Kermit, Texas for 30+ years. Bob loved to golf, and was a devoted member of Middletown United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded by his wife, Sarah Green, and all of his siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his granddaughter: Kristina Green; great-grandchildren: Christopher Green, Emily Fields, Ivebrie Green, and Abby Natividad; his great-great-grandchildren: Avin Rachall, Skye Green, and Odin Green; sister-in-law, Clora Pridemore, as well as other nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, Friday, February 6, 2026 at Ratterman Brothers, East Louisville (12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40243) with an additional hour of visitation at the funeral home from 10:00am – 11:00am, Saturday, February 7, 2026, and funeral service to following beginning at 11:00am. Bob's final resting place will be at Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Kentucky.
