Bobby Hudson Obituary
John spent many dedicated years as a mechanic working for Amite County Solid Waste before retiring. He was a hardworking, dependable man who loved his family deeply and carried a quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myra L. Honea, and his parents, Luther and Louise Honea.
John leaves behind his son, Jonathan Honea; his sister, Patsy Carraway; his brothers, Archie Honea, Dennis (Patsy) Honea, and Terry (Rita) Honea; along with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.
Visitation is Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral Home. Interment will follow in Honea Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Honea, Ethan Honea, Justin Etheridge, Brian Edwards, Brad Whittington, and Jonathan Honea. Honorary pallbearers are Chance Sterling and Nick Sphor.
John's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love will remain an enduring gift to those he leaves behind.
