Bobby Huffman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Southern Funeral Home, Inc. on Feb. 23, 2026.
Houlka-Bobby Lane "Tebo" Huffman, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on June 17, 1942 in Chickasaw County to George Huffman and Willie Mae Harmon Huffman. He was a member of Houlka United Methodist Church.
Tebo married the love of his life, Nannie Lorene Gann, on January 27, 1961 and they had 65 wonderful years together. After his marriage, he became a resident of Houlka, where he spent the rest of his life. He retired from International Paper (previously Union Camp) as supervisor after over 42 years of service. He was a member of J.S. Cain Masonic Lodge in Houlka for over 50 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed many different outdoor activities. He loved hunting quail until they became sparse, then he hunted deer and ducks. He enjoyed crappie fishing and camping out, especially with his cousins and friends at Blue Bluff in Aberdeen. He also liked riding ATVs in Kilgore Hills. Tebo was also known all over Chickasaw County for his dancing skills.
Tebo's greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. He had a deep love for his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many and leaves behind many special memories to be cherished.
Southern Funeral Home of Houston is honored to serve the Huffman Family.
