Bobby Ison Obituary
1953-2024
Bobby Ison, 70, of Grayson, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born October 4, 1953, in Grayson a son of the late Donald and Gladys Roark Ison.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Derrick Scott Ison; two uncles, Sonny Roark and David Roark; and three aunts, Pauline Harris, Eula Estep and Naomi Richardson.
Bobby was of the Methodist faith. He was a farmer, raising tobacco and working along with his family for many years.
He is survived by his brother, Barry Ison of Grayson, KY; a niece Bethany Crum of Willowood, OH; two aunts, Shelby Blanton of Elizabethtown, KY, and Donna and Larry Coleman of St Claire, MS; two uncles, Troy and Margaret Roark of Olive Hill, KY and J.D. and Betty Roark of Olive Hill, KY; a great nephew and great niece, Zac and Zoey Crum; special friends, Charles and Sue Wallace.
Graveside services will be Monday, April 1, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., at the Bentley Cemetery, just off the Carter Caves Road near Olive Hill, KY.

Bobby was such an incredible soul. He took great care of both of his parents. He really enjoyed his family, farm life and will be truly missed.

Bobby was always the good son who worked hard alongside his dad on the farm. I remember him as a gentle soul. I am shocked and saddened by his death. Condolences to those who love and miss him.
