Tallahassee - Coach Bobby E. Lang 87, died Thursday, January 6, 2022.
Due to the Covid 19, there will be a PRIVATE / INVITATION ONLY service at 11 A.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
Viewing will be Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Strong & Jones Funeral Home, following by viewing from 4 PM to 7 PM at the AL Lawson Center (FAMU Campus), 1800 Wahnish Way.
Service will be livestream via youtube at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MW1eqJY3ol.
His altruistic life will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and his Loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Gladys C. Lang; three children, Angela L. Ward, Ronald E. Lang (Beaulah) and Marlott V. Lang (Sheree); one brother, Calvin Lang (Johnie Mae); six grandchildren, Landon Lang, James Ward, Brent Lang (Cassie), Ayla Blevins (Kelvin Jr.), Brian Lang and Morgan Lang; three great grandchildren, Kelvin Blevins III, Lyle Lang and Lyric Lang; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Coach Bobby E. Lang Scholarship Fund has been established at the FAMU Foundation to support the Track & Field Program. Family and friends may make gifts payable to the:
