Bobby Arthur Leach, age 82 of Clinton, born June 1, 1942, born again June 6, 1965. His faith became sight on Friday, April 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Bobby was born to the late W.H. and Mavia Leach in Chattanooga. He was raised in New River by his late grandparents, Lewis and Belle Coker. Bobby was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He then attended University of Tennessee on the GI Bill and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Bobby worked as an iron worker and was Vice President of Ohio Valley Riggers and Erectors, Inc. before moving back to East Tennessee and entering the coal business. He was stockholder in several mining companies and other businesses across Tennessee and Kentucky. After mining, his focus was B & D Equipment Company, Inc. which specializes in massive excavation and mining reclamation projects. He was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church, faithfully attending Clinch River for Sunday School and Beech Park Baptist Church for worship. He loved spending time with his family, watching Lady Vols Basketball, and took every opportunity to ride ATV's in the mountains of East Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: brothers, Ronnie Coker Leach, Jimmy Leach, and Doug Leach; aunt, Pearl Phillips and husband Reuben; and uncle, Verldon Coker; all three of which had a vital role in his upbringing.

He is survived by: children, Lori Ellis and husband Mike of Rocky Top; Robbie Leach and wife Kim of Oliver Springs, and Brad Leach of Somerset, California; grandchildren, Beth Higgins and husband Jon, Brooke Ellis, Blair Martin and husband Brian, Blake Leach and wife Shana, and Kayla Elliott; great-grandchildren, Lola Ellis, Baylor Higgins, Belle Higgins, Zoey Elliott, and Rook Leach; brothers, Gary Leach and wife Amy, Randy Leach, Billy Jacobs; and sister, Cissy Hurd and husband Steve; several cousins and other family and friends.

Robbie and Lori would like to extend a special thank you to the Bob Swisher family for their years of unconditional love, friendship, and support for their Daddy.

The family will receive friends at Beech Park Baptist Church at 1085 E. Tri-County Blvd., Oliver Springs, TN 37840 on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with his son Robbie Leach officiating. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11am at the Phillips Cemetery in New River with David Cofer, Dennis Coday, Jason Bunch, Kerry Templin, Jackie Phillips, and Mickey Phillips serving as pallbearers.
