Bobby was born in Thomaston, Georgia, on December 27, 1949, son of the late Charles Kelley Ledbetter and the late Helen Louise Beam Ledbetter. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rita Elaine Ledbetter Fuller, and his brother, Charles Monroe Ledbetter.
Bobby worked for Charles Williams Real Estate for years in the maintenance department. He enjoyed going camping, listening to music, watching NASCAR and wrestling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend; he will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Rita Carol Espy Ledbetter; daughters, Melissa Dianne Minshew (Rodney), and Tammy Gyulai (Nate); sons, Gregory Ledbetter and Jeremy Gorham; grandchildren, Michael Jones (Amber), Toby Jones (Sammie), Patrick Jones (Jen), Dalton Diviney, Abigial Diviney, Makina Gorham, and Kourtlyn Gorham; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bobby requested that there be no formal memorial service.
