It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow that the family of Mr. Bobby Lee David Miracle Lucas announces his passing on October 5, 2025, at the young age of 23. Born on April 25, 2002, in the warm community of Dothan, Alabama, Bobby was a beacon of light and hope to all who knew him. His life, though tragically cut short, was a testament to the power of positivity and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
From a tender age, Bobby's talent in music was undeniable. He was a gifted rapper, whose lyrics and beats resonated with the hearts of many. His dream was to share his music with the world, and he poured his soul into every verse and melody. Bobby's creativity was not just a hobby, but a calling that he followed with dedication and joy. His passion for storytelling through music was a source of inspiration to his peers, and his songs will forever echo in the lives of those he touched.
Bobby's presence was a gift. He was known for his infectious laughter, his knack for bringing humor into any situation, and his ability to make anyone around him smile. His kind heart and gentle spirit were the hallmarks of his character, and he had a unique way of making each person feel valued and loved. Bobby's ability to light up a room was unmatched, and his positive influence will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the community at large.
The loss of Bobby to gun violence is a tragedy that has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who cherished him. Yet, even in the face of this immense sorrow, we take solace in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide us. Bobby's music, his love, and the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort and strength for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ms. Seletha "Goodie" Small and Mr. Robert Lucas. His legacy will live on through his cherished son, Jiyaan Amir Harris, who was the light of his life.
He is also survived by his devoted brother, Daniel Small, and his loving sister, Zoe Lucas, both of Dothan, Alabama. Bobby's playful spirit will be remembered by his nephews Brantley Thomas, Kyson Small, Rexton Daniel Small, and Aysun Miller, as well as his niece, Braylee Thomas.
He leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles who will miss his laughter and love: Dorothy Cogman, Mamie (Benjamin) McCory, Lueritha Lang, Shirley Small, Rosie Fields, Mary Carroll, Sametha Colvin, Twanda Small, Henry (Marcia) Small, Steve Small, and Mark Small. Bobby now joins his grandparents, Jimmie and Willie Bell Small, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins who have passed before him: Jimmie Small, Bobby Small, Frank Small, Lynn Small, Emma Small, Stephen Colvin, Ernest Small, Justin Small, Aaron Small, and Keith Small. Bobby also leaves a vast host of family and friends left to hold his memories close to their hearts. Special friends: Brendyn Reynolds, Taylia Burgess, Jalen Moton, Nayvieion Flowers, Diamond Swain, Montrell Hayes and Eliezer Lee.
Bobby's life was a beautiful melody, a composition of love, laughter, and the pursuit of dreams. His story, though brief, was full of moments that will be treasured forever. As we say goodbye to this remarkable young man, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts.
