Bobby Ervin Logue, 86, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away on January 5, 2025. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 11, 2025, at FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, Georgia. The Family would like to invite friends to join them one hour prior to services for a time of visitation.
Mr. Logue was born on November 4, 1938, in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late Mr. Swain Talmadge and Mrs. Alma Webb. He had a long career at Armstrong World Industries as a Paint Mixer. Mr. Logue is described as a hardworking and dedicated patriarch to his beloved family. He was a frugal, stoic man of few words; he could speak volumes with his signature "Look" or simply give you a "No". In his younger days he loved fishing and hunting, especially taking his family to hunt quail or rabbits. In his more docile years, he became known as the king of his dirt road; he would always ride around on his golf cart lending a helping hand wherever he could. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Logue is preceded in death by his loving wife, Delma Logue; son, Ricky Logue; sisters, Edna Cook, June Tanner, and Gloria Beecham.
Left to cherish Mr. Logue's memory are his son, Blakie (Brenda) Logue; sisters, Saralyn Scarboro, Rita (Danny) Schell; brother, Raymond Logue; grandchildren, Bobby (Stacey) Logue, Brent (Sara) Logue, Kevin (Courtney) Logue, Colin Bennett, Luke Bennett; great grandchildren, Kalayla Logue, Kali Logue, Bennett Logue, Philip Logue, Samuel Logue, Levi Logue; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mr. Logue's honor to the American Cancer Institute.
