Bobby was born on November 25, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Bobby Lee Parks, Sr., and Mary Nell Rudolph Parks. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lee Parks, III (BJ). On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Bobby was gently called home by the good Lord, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and laughter.
Bobby's journey of faith began early in life when he dedicated himself to Christ at Corinthian Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. A.D. Jones Sr. He was a proud graduate of Central High School. He went on to build a diverse career, sharing his talents with several notable companies, including LG&E, Porter Paint Company, American Airlines, and Neil Huffman Volkswagen.
Those who knew Bobby can attest to his vibrant spirit and unyielding work ethic. He was a man of many interests-he loved reading, cooking, and keeping busy. His passion for cars was matched only by his deep appreciation for jazz music. Bobby had a unique personality that would shine brightly; he often cooked in the wee hours of the morning, took charge with a drill sergeant's precision, and had a knack for finding "shortcuts" that somehow always seemed longer.
Bobby's warmth, humor, and love will be profoundly missed. He is survived by his devoted wife, Stacey Parks; his daughter, Kennedi Morgan Alexandria Parks (LaMichael); and his cherished granddaughter, Brooklyn Keith. He also leaves behind his brothers, Edward Rudolph, Walter Rudolph (Deborah), Wayland Coe (Samela) and Timothy Coe; his sisters, Frances Parks, Andrea Sinclair (Thomas), Barbara Turner (Desmond), Rhonda Cole (James) Jacqui Fitzgerald (Bruce) and Kathryn Fields (Wendell); and his last living aunt Charlene Rudolph, along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
