Bobby Ridge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by YANDA & SON FUNERAL HOME - YUKON on Feb. 16, 2024.
In loving memory of Bob E. Ridge, who peacefully passed away at his Yukon home on February 15, 2024, at the age of 75. Bob was born in Martinsville, Indiana, on November 23, 1948, to Floyd and Clara Ridge (Johnson). Bob graduated in 1968 from Whiteland Community High School in Whiteland, Indiana. He went on to graduate from Ivy Tech School of Radiology in Indianapolis, and worked in Radiology at St. Vincent Hospital. During a road trip with his late brother, Tom Ridge, he met his beloved wife, Jeannette Forman, and they were married for 53 years.
Bob and Jeannette later moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where Bob continued his career in Radiology at Redstone Arsenal Hospital. In 1978, Bob and his family moved to their final home in Yukon, Oklahoma, where he worked as a CT Technician at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. His compassion for patients was a testament to his belief in treating everyone with dignity and kindness. Despite his reserved demeanor, those who knew him discovered a humorous and warm-hearted man. Bob was a wonderful husband, brother, father, father-in-law, and grandpa. His family loves him dearly and will miss him always.
Bob is survived by his wife Jeanette Ridge; son Jason Ridge and his wife Kathy; daughter Michelle Creach and her husband Brett; son Brian Ridge; grandchildren Carson Creach, Carter Creach, Gregory Ridge, and Landon Ridge; sister Barbara (Ridge) Yates of Greenwood, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Clara Ridge; sisters Ruth and Mary Coy; and brothers Jay Ridge, Tom Ridge, and Ed Ridge.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 18, at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 19, at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
