Bobby Wilson Rogers, Sr., 89, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence after an illness.

Born February 4, 1936, in Marlboro County, SC, he was the son of the late Barney and Juanita Parrish Rogers. Bobby was a member of Bennettsville Wesleyan Church. A hardworking man throughout his life, he was self-employed for more than 60 years and spent 18 years working with Boro.

Bobby loved riding his Harley, working with his hands, spending time with his family, and enjoying the comfort of home. He was known as the best man you could ever meet and the best "Dad" anyone could ask for. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sylvia Christine Wallace Rogers; his sons, Bobby Rogers, Jr., Robert Johnson (Kathy), and Wayne Rogers; his daughters, Abigail Rogers, Bobbie Carol Barbee, Pat Freeman, and Debbie Rogers; and his grandchildren: Cutler Hood (Sierra Locklear), Jake Gibson, Tabetha Preston, Priscilla McCormick, Sheena McCormick, Bobby "Trece" Rogers, III, Levi Rogers, Amber (Jeff) Johnson Snyder, Rob Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, Eric Ziebell, Matt Ziebell, and Winter Guzman; along with 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Robin Guzman; his son, Randy Rogers; and four siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00–7:00 PM, just prior to the service.
