Bobby Wayne Shoffner

Bobby Wayne Shoffner – age 58 of Maynardville, passed away Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025 at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maynardville and was an employee of U.S.I.C. as a utility locator. He was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School Class of 1985. To know Bobby was to love him. Proceeded in death by his parents, Kenneth Wayne and Melba June (Irick) Shoffner; grandparents, Monroe Kenneth Shoffner, Anne Shoffner Malone (Mom Anne), Clayton and Opal (Raley) Irick; cousin, Kenneth Greene; aunt, Peggy Shoffner Allen.
Survived by girlfriend and caregiver, Penny Hensley of Maynardville; son, Chase (Mia) Shoffner of Maynardville; granddaughter, Paisleigh Shoffner; sister, Jody Black; niece, Michaela Black; honorary step-children, Megan Woods, Corey Smith; special cousin, Tammy Bowman of Maynardville; special friend, Keith Bailey; several other family members along with a host of friends that includes the co-workers and the contractors he worked for.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m, Brother Josh Tharpe officiating with music by the Williams Family. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, Monroe Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers will be, Chase Shoffner, Spencer Johnson, Josh Tharpe, Greg Kiser, Jordan Chudley, Kieth Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Glen Johnson, David Sizemore, Gary Anderson, Greg Fields. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Saturday to go with the funeral procession.
