Bobby Lee Smith, 91, died peacefully Friday, December 12, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville AR. He was born July 24, 1934, in Little Rock to Clarence Clifford Smith and Eula Virginia Smith (nee Moore). Bob grew up in North Little Rock and graduated from high school in 1953. He served in the AR Air National Guard during his high school and college years, achieving the rank of S/Sgt. He worked his way through college at Arkansas State Teachers College (University of Central Arkansas) in Conway. It was there he met his wife, Linda Lou Noble. They were married March 4, 1961.

Bob began his career as a National Bank Examiner for the 8th Federal District headquartered in St. Louis. During this time, he received a degree from the LSU School of Banking. He lived in Memphis and Nashville, TN as an examiner before accepting a position as Vice President of First National Bank, Tullahoma, TN, later serving as President. Following Tullahoma, he was with Citizens Bank of Cleveland, TN and returned to Arkansas in 1982. In 1987, he accepted a position with First National Bank of Bentonville. Following his banking career, he worked as an accounts payable auditor with PRG, Inc. in Bentonville (formerly Roy Green & Associates). Bob retired in 2004 and enjoyed his time playing golf, fishing, gardening, and traveling. Bob cared deeply for his family and looked forward to spending as much time as possible with them. He was always cheering for his children and grandchildren in their many activities and enjoyed all family outings. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rogers.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, brothers Clarence Clifford Smith, Jr. and William Lynn Smith and sisters Verla Jean Scott and Barbara Jane Gambill. He was also predeceased by his son, David Gregory Smith. Survivors are his wife, daughters Jennifer Wilson (Kevin) of Rogers, AR; and Jill Warren (Tom) of Fulton, AR; grandchildren Catera Smith of Frisco, TX; Sidney Wilson of Chicago, IL; Audrey Wilson of Denver, CO; Gus Warren (Angel) of Texarkana, AR; and McCall Warren of Fulton, AR; and by his great-grandson Charlie Warren. Also surviving are sisters Mary Horton, Sharon Carr, and Ginny Schiller.

No local services will be held. Private burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, AR. The family would like to thank his in-home caregivers and the entire staff at Circle of Life Hospice for the kindness and care they provided. Memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonville
