IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bobby Lee Snow
January 19, 1955 - October 12, 2024
OBITUARY
Bobby Lee Snow, 69, joined his mother, father, and brothers in Heaven on October 12th, 2024. Born in Phoenix, AZ on January 19th, 1955, Bobby ended up in Fresno, CA, where he settled down and lived out the rest of his days. He was a boisterous man who was known for never holding back on an opinion, his ability to converse for hours, and his love for the Chargers. He spent thirty years in the construction industry with his final job as a Construction Supervisor for DG Construction before an injury put him into an early retirement in 2007. Though an illness made hobbies difficult, in his free time he enjoyed playing video games, tinkering with electronics and PCs, watching football and movies, riding his bike, stargazing with his telescope, and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in this journey by his mother Shirley Mae Boulding, father Robert Lee Snow, and brothers Mike Snow and Greg Snow. He is survived by his daughters Kara (Sarah) Snow and Samantha Silva; his sons-in-law Cody Taylor and Joseph Silva; his brothers Marshall Snow, Russell Snow, and Doug Snow; close friends Dennis Kratly and Karen Garcia; his cat companion Dexter; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins scattered across the states.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held with the date and place TBD. His final resting place will be at his home with daughter and son-in-law as he wished.
I'M FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now. He set me free.
"May God touch you
with His healing hand
and give you the peace and comfort
you need to get through."
Anon.
