Bobby Soliz, Sr., age 66, of Morton, Texas, died Friday, November 1, 2024 in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was born August 11, 1958 in Kingsville, Texas to Benjamin and Cornelia (Cabrera) Soliz, Sr. He married Juana Alvarez in Morton on December 4, 1976.
Bobby loved taking rides on his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed going to Fort Stockton games and visiting the concession stand. Bobby was always collecting coins and junk and liked to play games with the nursing home residents. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Leo Soliz and Felip Soliz.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Juana; his four sons, Jason Soliz and his wife, Debbie of Littlefield, Texas, Sammy Soliz and his wife, Cynthia of Fort Stockton, Texas, Bobby Soliz Jr. of Morton, Texas and Michael Soliz and his wife, Monic of Lamesa, Texas; his two daughters, Rosa Soliz of Morton, Texas and Marissa Guajardo Davila and her husband, Amos of Midland, Texas; three sisters, Ida Ochoa, Norma Guiterrez and Melinda Sosa; a brother, Ben Soliz; thirteen grandchildren, Domonic Soliz, Marissa Martinez, Dylan Gordo Soliz, Gisele Cabellero, Antonio Soliz, Camila Soliz, Isabella Soliz, Haylie Soliz, Matthew Soliz, John Rodriguez, Amias Davila, Daniel Davila and Laura Cruz; and his three great-grandchildren, Delilah Mae Soliz, Zaley Gonzalez and Mario Elias Gonzalez.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Focused Care, 501 North Sycamore Street, Fort Stockton, Texas, 79735.
