Bobby Joe Vaughn, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1934, in Russellville, Arkansas, to George Allen Vaughn and Lois Jean Ellis Vaughn, who preceded him in death.

Bobby was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle whose life was defined by his deep love for family and his strong work ethic. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Sue Vaughn, and his son, Robert Allen Vaughn.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Jeana Ward, and his siblings, James Vaughn and Ruby Jean Delaney. Bobby was a proud grandfather to Cortney Redmann and husband Jon Redmann, and Andy Vaughn and wife Laurie Vaughn, their Mother Karen Blakley; Anthony Brugnone and wife Sydney Brugnone; and Kori Brookins and husband David Brookins. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Hailey,Emalynn, Mikah, Bobbi, Emory, Belle, and Jayce, who brought him great joy.

Bobby worked many years as a dedicated millwright before retiring, a career that reflected his skill with his hands and his commitment to providing for his family. Known for his craftsmanship and mechanical ability, he could often be found working on projects in his garage, building or fixing something for those he loved.

In his free time, Bobby enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and spending time in his workshop. He was happiest when he was creating, repairing, or sharing time with family. He was a strong family man whose quiet strength, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobby’s life was a testament to hard work, devotion to family, and the simple joys found in time spent with loved ones. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.

Bobby will be remembered for his steady strength, his loving heart for his family, and the many quiet ways he cared for those around him. The lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Graveside service will take place on at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 16th 2026 at Cooper Cemetery in Malvern Arkansas.
