David Vaughn Obituary
He was born in Harrisburg, PA on June 28, 1938 to John and Emma Vaughn. Upon graduation from New Cumberland High School he joined the U.S. Navy in 1956. David retired as a Chief Warrant Officer-3 from the military after 22 years of service. He then continued his education earning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Old Dominion University.
David is survived by his loving wife Joyce Vaughn, children Vicki Lydon(Tom), Susan Minucci(Glenn) and David W. Vaughn,Jr (Jenn), 6 grandchildren Elizabeth, Alex, Tyler, Nick, Brandon and Kathryn. He was blessed to also have 7 great grandchildren.
David was a devoted husband, father and Pappy whose presence will truly be missed.
The family would like to extend our deepest thanks for the amazing care that Dr. Simon Go gave to David and the wonderful healthcare providers from Sentara Health.
