Bobby L. Watson, 85, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday (January 7, 2023) at the Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville.
He was born January 11, 1937 in Byesville, son of the late Delno Watson and Maxine C. (Willis) Watson.
Bobby graduated from Byesville High School in 1954.
He served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1963 and was a member of the DAV Chapter #28.
He travelled extensively throughout the United States with his wife, Marjorie.
Bobby was a member of the Bateshill Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and his wife, Billy and Margie; two nephews, Kevin and Jeff; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Saultz.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Stockdale) Watson, whom he married August 11, 1973; a son, Tim (Carrie) Watson of Cambridge; two daughters, Lori (Jeff) West of Byesville and Cindy (Larry) Wheeler of Cambridge; two sisters-in-law, Luella (Ron) Guldan of Mt. Vernon and Betty Hill of North Dakota; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Wheeler, Amber (Jeff) Massey, Troy (Malory) Milhoan, Jared (Tiffany Ansberry) Milhoan, Ian West, Kiefer (Annie) Watson, and Emily (Michael) Brown; and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (January 10, 2023) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (January 11, 2023) at 11 a.m. with Evan. Harry Summers officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Bobby's name be made to Ohio's Hospice of Central Ohio, Attn: Light Up a Life, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark OH 43055.
