Bobby Willis Wilson

Bobby Willis Wilson, 67, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bobby was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 22, 1956, son of the late Willis Merrill Wilson and Evanell (Buster) Wilson. He was united in marriage to Mary Vanstory on October 2, 2022, in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Bobby was a hard worker and owned and operated B&J Automotive for many years in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and was the go-to the mechanic. He was an all-around great man who was always willing to help others. Bobby enjoyed camping and going. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending any time that he could with them. Bobby was of the Pentecostal faith.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Mary Wilson of Ash Flat, Arkansas; sons, Ryan Wilson of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Eric McDonald and wife Karen of Center, Arkansas; daughters, Shelly Draper and husband Shawn of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Jodie Hightower and husband JR of Franklin, Arkansas; brother, Danny Wilson and wife BJ of Franklin, Arkansas; grandchildren, Honey Wilson, Destiny Wilson, Fallon McDonald, Gabe McDonald, Annabeth McDonald, Marisa Porter, Brody Hightower, Gavin Draper, Gage Draper and Grant Draper and great grandchildren, McKinley Porter and Wraylon Porter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eura Dooley.

Pallbearers include: Travis Smith, Brody Hightower, JR Hightower, Wally Mettler, Ethan Porter and Merrill Dooley

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 18, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tom Doty officiating at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Wiseman Cemetery in Wiseman, Arkansas.
