Bobby D. Wist, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at the age of 91. Loving husband of the late Jane Wist; beloved son of the late QZ and Josephine "Josie" Wist; devoted father of Judy Rish, Randy (Tonya) Wist, and Donald "Don" E. (Terrie) Wist; cherished grandfather of Philip & David Rish, and Christopher W. Wist; treasured great-grandfather of Gabriel, Emily, Mackenzie, Karlee, Ayden, and Aspen. Bobby is also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Sara Ann Rish and Travis Alexander Wist; his siblings, Mildred (Bill) Ratliff, Maysel (Bill) Stewart, Mary Ann (Robert) Sparks, Nona (Herbert) Franklin, Nelline (Jack) Franklin, James (Pauline, survives) Wist, Keith (Ina) Wist, Jack (Lucille) Wist, Joe (Yvonne, survives) Wist, and an infant sister.
Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Masons. Bobby worked as Section Manager of Quality Control at McDonell Douglas for many years before retiring. Bobby enjoyed working outside in his garden and challenging his mind every evening working on crossword puzzles every night. Bobby loved to watch his St. Louis, Cardinals Baseball. Bobby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Bobby's name to Delta Gamma Foundation for Visually Impaired Children.
