Bobby Jean Wright

Bobby J. Wright of Cordele passed away, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 87. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Bobby was born in Fulton County, Kentucky, to the late Alvice Clinton Wright and Hushel Myatt Wright. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Wright, his sister, Louise Thomas, and a son-in-law, Randy Mann. Bobby was retired from the Mobile Home Manufacturing business. He enjoyed going to Wrestling matches and watching them on TV. He loved to watch old Western movies and TV shows. Most of the time, you would catch him reading a book from his favorite author, Louis L'amour. He is survived by three children, Richard (Lisa) Wright, Dickson, TN, Gwen Mann, Cookeville, TN and Marilyn Brannan, Garland, TX; six grandchildren, Tim (Marlena) Wright, Annie (Ryan) Pickens, Kris Mann, Stephanie (Jay) Peeler, Kasey (Kelry) Mann and Kaitlyn Brannan; five great-grandchildren and several special nephews and a niece. Memorial donations to Crisp Regional Hospice, 202 East 4th Avenue, Cordele, GA, 31015, would please the family.
