Bobbye attended Rolling Fork High School, where she not only excelled in her studies but was also active in sports, a passion that showed her determined and lively spirit.

Bobbye retired from the New Orleans Post Office in 1975 before moving back to Mississippi and planting her roots in Greenville.

She is survived by her children Joe Jones (Nancy), Becky Mull (Gary), and Michelle Britton (Bryan); grandchildren Chris and Toby Jones, Duane, Joseph, Joshua, and Nicole Zito, Brett and Madilyn Britton; along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was also a loving stepmother to Joe Johnston, Jr., the late Doris Chase, Debbie Bird, Kathy Russell, and Steve Johnston, children of her late husband J.C. Johnston; and to Bill, Robert, and Suzanne McArthur, children of her husband Tom McArthur. She leaves behind a large extended family of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters Carol Eaton and Linda Roof, and was preceded in death by her sister Jane McLemore.

"It is written:'Well done, good and faithful servant…Enter into the joy of your Lord."-Matthew 25:23

Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing she is in glory with her Savior.
