Boe Carpitcher Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Joe "Boe" Floyd Carpitcher, Jr. was born on April 13, 1961, and passed from this life on October 22, 2025.
Boe will be remembered for his strong work ethic, easygoing nature, and steadfast reliability. He never missed an opportunity to step in to help other people.
From an early age, Boe learned the value of hard work. While many teens were focused on getting their driver's licenses, Boe was already mastering the trade of concrete work. He discovered a natural talent for finishing and, through dedication and skill, later established his own business, Carpitcher Construction. His honesty, craftsmanship, and dependable reputation made him a sought-after contractor, respected by both clients and employees alike.
In his downtime, Boe found peace and fulfillment in nature. Whether he had a fishing pole in hand or was patiently waiting in a hunting blind with a beer and a friend, Boe cherished the outdoors and the camaraderie that came with it. He loved hunting in the mountains in eastern Oklahoma, but his experience hunting bear in Canada with family was his favorite to reminisce about. He loved being surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter and a beer, with his faithful dogs always nearby.
He also had an outgoing, social side and enjoyed the occasional night out dancing at one of his favorite bars.
Boe's life was marked by hard work, friendship, and an appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Carpitcher; daughter, Cristen Eagan, and her husband, Darrell; sister, Deborah Hartwig, and her husband, Douglas; brothers, Harvey Barnes and his wife, Barbara, and Odie Carpitchter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and many other cousins and other loving family members and friends.
Boe is preceded by his parents, Joe Floyd Carpitcher Sr, and Martha Joann Rogers Carpitcher and sister Toney Penick.
