Bonnie Jean Daniel, age 93, of Charlotte, Tennessee passed away on November 10, 2025. She was born to the late Sylva Washington Reatherford and Dena Mae (Drewes) Reatherford in Moweaqua, Il. Bonnie was a fifty-year member and faithful piano player at Liberty United Methodist Church of Charolette, Tennessee.
Bonnie was a Moweaqua High School graduate and later retired as a Membership Administrator with the Tennessee Education Association. She spent her free time cooking delicious meals in her kitchen for her family and never kept a recipe a secret. Even if you had the recipe, you could not recreate her rendition of a pecan pie.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents listed above: her loving husband of 71 years, Joe Daniel; her brothers and sister: Florence Mary Maple, Mayrose Yvonne White, Darrell Vernon Reatherford, Merlyn Henry Reatherford and Carol Dean Reatherford.
She is survived by her loving children, Dennis Harris Daniel (Lynn) and Wyatt Dale Daniel; her sister, Sylvia Dena Murphy; her grandchildren, Duane Harris Daniel (Karen) and Nathan Crawford Daniel (Nichole); her great grandchildren, Easton, Kennedy, Tyler (Kayla), Mitchell and Cameron; her great- great grandchildren, Teagan and Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Loggins Family Cemetery (215 Old Highway 48, Charlotte, TN 37036) in Bonnie Jean Daniel's honor.
A visitation will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 11:30 until time of service. The funeral service will begin at 1:30pm in the chapel with Tommy Clark officiating. The burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens at 2:30pm.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Daniel, Duane Daniel, Nathan Daniel, Trevor Taylor, Dan Walters and Benjie Daniel.
