Bonnie Lou Lowman, 76, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD, on November 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 27, 1949, in Dillsburg, PA, to the late Earl Edward Yohn and Myrtle Marie (Miller) Yohn.
Bonnie lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to family. She was a woman whose warmth, compassion, and unwavering love shaped the lives of all who knew her. She was the cherished wife of 54 years to her beloved husband, Fred Leroy Lowman.
A woman of deep faith and abiding love for the church, Bonnie attended Virginia Avenue Church of God in Hagerstown, MD. Her faith was her foundation, guiding her throughout her life and influencing the kindness and grace she shared with everyone around her. She found joy in worship, fellowship, and the comfort of her church community.
Bonnie retired from Citibank, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara, Nancy, and Gail, and two brothers, Leslie and Earl. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Glenn Yohn, and her sister, Carol Yohn.
Bonnie is also survived by her three loving daughters: Christy Lowman and Robbie McCauley of Charles Town, WV; Teresa Naill and husband Jason of Frederick, MD; and Stephanie Swope and husband John of Falling Waters, WV.
She was a proud and loving Nanny to her six grandchildren: Faith Naill, Connor FitzGerald, Haiden Naill, Bradley Naill, Grace Swope, and Lukas Swope, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Bonnie is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, as well as her cherished sisters-in-law, all of whom were blessed by her gentle spirit, warm smile, and steadfast faith.
In honoring the life of Bonnie Lowman, visitation will be at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD, on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00pm. The funeral home will be open starting at 1:00pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Virginia Avenue Church of God, in Hagerstown, MD, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 12:00pm (noon) with Rev. Shawn Bushman and Rev. Glenn Yohn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
Bonnie's life was defined by love-for her family, her church, and her community. Her faith, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
