Bonnie Jean "Meadows" Lundell

Bonnie J. Lundell, 92, of Roseville, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio, under the compassionate care of FairHope Hospice. Born on January 1, 1933, in Middleport, Ohio, Bonnie's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit. Bonnie, known for her unwavering devotion to her family, is survived by her loving children: Vicki Trout and Paula Sowers of Roseville; sons Doug (Missy) Lundell of Crooksville, Mike (Mary) Lundell of Roseville, and Jerry (Mindy) Lundell of Zanesville. Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She is also survived by her caring brother, Greg (Connie) Meadows. Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Harvey "Buck" Lundell; her son, Johnny K. Lundell; her parents, Paul B. and Thelma (Bowen) Meadows Sr.; her brother, Paul Meadows Jr.; her sister and brother-in-law, Glenna (Jim) Stewart; sons-in-law, Al Sowers and Randy Trout; and her great granddaughter, Adalynn Lundell. Throughout her life, Bonnie embraced her role as a homemaker with passion and dedication. She was the cornerstone of her family, providing strength, support, and some of the best home-cooked meals around. Her family fondly remembers her kitchen as a place of laughter, love, and the irresistible aroma of her famous recipes. Bonnie's love for her family was her guiding force, and she often spoke of looking forward to being reunited with her late son, Johnny, and her mother, Thelma, in the afterlife. Bonnie's interests were as nurturing as her role in her family. She was an avid lover of crossword puzzles and word finds, often spending hours immersed in the challenge and joy they brought her. Her love for bird watching reflected her appreciation for nature and the simple pleasures of life. Bonnie was also an enthusiastic reader, having read almost every book available in her local library. Her intellectual curiosity and love for learning were attributes that she passed down to her children and grandchildren. In the quiet moments when we find ourselves gazing at the birds or solving a puzzle, we will remember Bonnie's gentle spirit and the love she shared so freely. As we mourn the passing of Bonnie J. Lundell, we honor her life by observing private services as she wished, being laid to rest next to her son Johnny and with her husband Buck in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
