Bonnie Kae Machen, 94, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 16, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of Symbii Home Health and Hospice.
Bonnie was born June 22, 1931, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Delos and Cora Irene Killian. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School.
On December 8, 1949, she married Wendell M. Machen in the Idaho Falls Temple. Bonnie and Wendell made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Bonnie was a homemaker.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing cards and games. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Gary Machen (Lennia) of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Bruce (Pam) Machen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Kurt (Shelly) Machen of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Joni Dyches of Washington, UT; 26 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell M. Machen; daughter, Sharon Machen, daughter, Sandra Kae McBride; and son, Kevin Neal Machen.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Sageview Ward, 1345 Clarence. The family will visit with friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
