Bonnie Grace Roberts Merrill peacefully passed away August 1st, 2021.

Bonnie was born in Price, Utah on June 6th,1932 to Evan and Grace Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister (Fae), her brother (Bob), former husband (Non Moody Merrill), 2 grandchildren (Little Amos & Jacob), her daughter-in-law (Elsie) and one great grandchild (Katie).

She is survived by her four children: Monna Merrill, Amos Merrill (Connie), Yvonne Doolhoff & Jeremy Merrill (Gaylene), 13 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild.

Bonnie married Non Moody Merrill in 1953. They were later divorced after 22 years of marriage. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life. She was employed at the Ogden, Utah temple for more than 20 years before she retired in 2001. Her greatest passions in life were the Gospel of Jesus Christ and music. She was an organist and played the piano for many church callings, dances, stage plays and choirs. She was also a composer, artist, singer and poet.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful care given by Hearts for Hospice and Tender Care Hospice workers. Many of you became friends with Bonnie and that meant a lot to her and her family.

A viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary August 20th, 2021, 6:00-8:00 pm (1585 West 300 South, Syracuse UT). Please wear a mask if you come. Funeral services will be August 21st, 2021, at 10:00 am (5127 S 2400 W Roy UT) at the Church of Jesus Christ' Roy Stake Center. A viewing will be held earlier that morning, at the same location, 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Please wear a mask if you attend in person. The funeral will also be broadcast via the link on the Russon Mortuary website.
