Bonnie Quick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carpenter's Funeral Home - Corning on Oct. 25, 2025.
Bonnie L. Quick, 68, passed away on October 17, 2025, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. She was born on September 24, 1957, in Corning, NY, to parents Gerould and Jean (Jacobus) O'Dell. Bonnie graduated from West High School in 1976.
Bonnie loved spending time with her family and friends. She cherished the company of her beloved cat, Pocahontas, and was an avid bingo player, though the game could sometimes test her patience! Despite life's ups and downs, Bonnie was always in good spirits. She especially enjoyed playing Skip-Bo and Aggravation with Emily, Ashley, and her niece Hallie.
Known for her unique stories and fond memories, Bonnie brought laughter and warmth to those around her. She adored her collection of Native American dolls and her cherished Christmas village set. Bonnie also loved spending time doing word-find puzzles and coloring with her nephew, Landyn.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Christopher Quick of Corning; five siblings: Doug (Linda) Pratt of Bath, Mike (Gloria) Pratt of Savona, Steven Pratt of Corning, Matthew Pratt of Beaver Dams, and Melissa (Walter Fackler) O'Dell of Corning; nieces Hallie Peterson (Robert Elliot) of Painted Post and April Pratt of Savona; nephews Landyn O'Dell Hall, Greg Townsen and Timothy Townsend; and close friends Emily Snyder and Ashley Lunsford, who was like a second daughter to her.
She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, April Lynn Davis; her sister, Cheryl Townsend; and her stepfather, Robert O'Dell.
"Be still, and know that I am God." - Psalm 46:10
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Bonnie's family has entrusted her final arrangements to Carpenter's Funeral Home in Corning. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Bonnie, please visit our floral store.
