Our beloved Cousin Bonnie is right in the middle of this wonderful old family photograph shared with me by cousin Judy Hoskins (Hinger).

I will always remember beautiful Bonnie and the amazing family gatherings we had on Thanksgivings and other occasions.

I believe this photo and the gathering we were enjoying so many years ago that day was at our late Aunt Claire's home. Aunt Claire is pictured top left and also - top left to right pictured are - our late cousin Mark, then my Mother Ruth Whiteley; below them left to right - Aunt Dottie (Hinger) holding our toddler cousin Judy Hinger (Hoskins), then Bonnie in the middle, then me, Linda Whiteley at the end. At the bottom is my big sister Carol Whiteley.

My deepest condolences to each and every one of Bonnie's family, with love,

Linda Whiteley

Bonnie was my older cousin by a few years, and always seemed to me like one of the most loving, nurturing people I knew. While I was trying and failing, over and over, to figure out how healthy relationships should work, Bonnie and Joe just went ahead and quietly showed us what it looked like by example. Our last contact was a few years ago, when I sent her some Pilgrim and Indian candles that looked like the ones her Mom (Aunt Claire) used to put out for our Thanksgiving meals, and Bonnie sent me a package of Tandy Takes, a sweet treat unavailable to me since I'd moved South. Gonna miss her!
