Born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, Bonny was the third of four children to the late Colin and Doris Doyle. Moving to the United States as a young child, she quickly made friends once the family made Delaware their permanent home in 1969.

Bonny retired five years ago and enjoyed spending time with her family and her latest fur baby, Lillie.
Bonny was preceded in death by her parents, Colin and Doris Doyle; and siblings, Gary Doyle and Sharon Doyle. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert "Tony" Pruitt; sister, Kimberley Rebarchak (Glen); daughter, Crystal Clough (Bill); son, James Colmery (Kelly); cherished and only grandchild, Bryan Colmery; nieces, Kelsey Sill and Klarissa Rebarchak; and great-niece, Sophia Murphy.
