Boonmy Boupha, 65, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, June 2, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family after an illness.
Born in Laos on June 5, 1959, he was the son of the late Heuan and Phaeng Boupha. Boonmy was a floor boy employed by Beacon Manufacturing for many years.
Boonmy loved the outdoors and was a true outdoorsman, finding solace in the open waters fishing. His pride and joy were his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he cherished the memories made throughout the years.
Boonmy is survived by his wife, Douangchanh (Khane) Boupha of Gardner; two sons, Hoompheng Boupha and his wife Anna of Fitchburg, and Thomas John "TJ" Boupha of Gardner; a daughter, Samantha Boupha and her husband Bounthavi of Gardner; grandchildren, Savannah, Davontae, Cameron, Nikayla, Chance, and Cayden; four brothers, Somboom Boupha of Gardner, Phou Boupha and his wife Saysamone of Woonsocket, RI, Phay Boupha and his wife Keo of Gardner, and Kuth Boupha and his wife Dafone of Gardner; two sisters, Vankham Chanthayom of Gardner, and Chanpang San Pedro and her husband Ronald of Carson, CA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a son, Peter Boupha; a grandson, Niko; and a brother, Pheuy Boupha.
Visitation will be Friday June 13,2025, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Cremation Services will be held at Rural Cemetery and Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester, MA. Burial at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.
