Boris Soyfer, a devoted husband, father, brother, and esteemed electrical engineer, departed this world on December 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy brightened by both his remarkable career and the profound love for his family.

Born on July 6, 1932, in the vibrant city of Kiev, Ukraine, Boris emerged into a world that would witness his unwavering dedication to his craft. His life was woven with resilience and tenacity, qualities that shaped his journey from the streets of Kiev to the halls of engineering excellence. With a keen mind and an inventive spirit, he excelled as an electrical engineer, earning respect and admiration from his peers and significantly contributing to the advancements in his field.

On this path paved with achievements, Boris found his greatest joy in the embrace of family. He shared a deep bond with his beloved wife, Beba Privorotskaya, whose unwavering support was a constant throughout their years together. Their partnership was a testament to love's enduring power, forged through shared dreams and a commitment to one another. Their son, Eugene (Alla) Soyfer, cherished his father's guidance and wisdom, and today honors him through the love instilled in his own family. Boris was especially proud of his grandsons, Ilya and Leo, who carried forward the spirit of curiosity and determination that their grandfather embodied.

His family tree also bears the roots of love and respect for his brother, Michael Soyfer, who shared countless memories and laughter with Boris. Life's tapestry would not be complete without acknowledging the void left by his parents, Yefim and Anna Soyfer, who nurtured his dreams and instilled values that would guide him throughout his journey.

As we gather to remember Boris, we are reminded of the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. His warmth, character, and intellect resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on December 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Beth El Zedeck North Cemetery in Fishers, Indiana. It is here we shall bid farewell to a man whose legacy will forever shine within the hearts he touched, and whose spirit will continue to inspire future generations.
