Boyd Collins, beloved husband Kathy Collins went to be with His Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Georgetown, Kentucky. Boyd was born on November 17, 1956, in Manchester, Kentucky to the late Junior and Malviaree Collins. Boyd was a man of faith, family, and adventure. He proudly owned Collins Auto Sales in Georgetown and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his work. Earlier in life, he honed his skill as a brick mason, building not only with his hands but with his heart. As a preacher, Boyd shared his faith and touched the lives of many. He was kind, adventurous, and full of life-always ready to explore the outdoors through traveling, camping, fishing, and boating. Above all, Boyd cherished his family and the time spent with them. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed, leaving a lasting mark on all who knew him. Besides his wife, Boyd will be lovingly remembered by his three sons, Boyd (Tonya) Collins Jr. of Georgetown, Farris (Sheila) Combs of Georgetown and Tommy (Victoria) Combs of Georgetown; two daughters, Marcolina Collins of Winchester and Kimberly Collins of Georgetown; one brother, Carl (Tiffany) Collins of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren, Ethan Rogers, Chyann Collins, Michael Angle, Boyd Shelton Collins, Tommy Combs, Cady Hunt, Bryan Combs, Caylee Hunt, Dalton Hunt, Tessa Combs, and Joseph Combs; and two great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in his passing by his four brothers, Albert Collins, Robert Collins, Delbert Collins, and James Collins. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be followed the same day at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Sons officiating. Burial will follow to Masonic Cemetery in Stamping Ground with Boyd Collins Jr., Farris Combs III, Tommy Combs, Boyd Shelton Collins, Dalton Hunt, and Carl Jr. Collins serving as pallbearers and Jesse Burgess and Josh Collins serving as honorary pallbearers. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolences and memories here on Boyd's Tribute Wall.
